Encaustic work involves many possibilities - layering photographic images with wax, using images as collage elements, combining images with pigmented hot wax and/or using pigmented wax and oils on their own to create abstract paintings. I love this medium and it is the latest endeavor that I’m enjoying immensely! Working with the creamy hot wax is magical.
